Late Saturday Afternoon, under lights Pegasus and Ulster Elks met in an All Ireland Women’s 1st Division game at The Dub, Queens. As befits a local derby encounter, there was an edge to the game as Pegasus sought to gain their first points of the season.
Both keepers were in action early on, but defences reigned supreme in a scoreless 1st quarter.
The 2nd quarter was much of the same fare. Zara Malseed opened the scoring for Pegasus, the 24th minute, following a penalty corner move . . .
