1st XI Superleague: Larne Grammar 1 Coleraine Grammar 2

I stayed close to home on Saturday morning to pick up the Ulster Hockey Schools Ist XI Superleague match between Larne Grammar and Coleraine Grammar at Lower Cairncastle Road.

Both teams had their provincial players available and it was a strong looking Coleraine side that arrived to take on a much changed young Larne team.

I was only able to take in the first half of this one but there was plenty of action from two strong sides.

Coleraine enjoyed the early pressure keeping Larne on the back foot early on but the home team managed to create a few chances with Isla Allen prominent. However it was Coleraine who took the lead with Anna Shaw finding the net at a penalty corner . . .
