In game 2 of the triple header at the Kingspan Stadium, on Saturday, Co Cavan faced league winners Rainey OB in the U16 R B Fleming Cup. The rain and wind, which had affected the first game had not lessened.
In the opening minutes Rainey took the game to Cavan, dominating territory and possession, playing into the wind.
A blindside break allowed Joseph Cassidy space to score for a 5-0 Rainey lead, after 11 minutes.
