With our original match schedule decimated due to the slow thaw I was able to pick up this game close to home thanks to a timely update from Pegasus Hockey Club on Twitter.
I must say I really enjoyed covering this competitive Junior 6 league match between Larne Ladies IIIs and Pegasus IVs at the back of Larne Grammar on Saturday afternoon. Both teams had a mix of schoolgirls, some of whom I recognised from previous coverage, and some more experienced players at the back who kept both teams honest.

Larne started on the front foot and they were a goal up after 3 minutes thanks to a strike from Eve Lavery who went on to have an impressive game.
