We caught up with a Ulster Hockey Women’s Junior 3 table top clash last night as Larne II’s played Coleraine II’s at Larne Grammar.
Larne started the game on the front foot and built up a 2 – 0 lead in the first quarter after a goal from Lyndsey Robinson in open play was followed by a strike from Taylor Black from a penalty corner.

Larne worked a penalty strike midway through the second quarter but the chance was saved by Coleraine’s keeper and after being under the cosh for most of the game the visitors turned the game on it’s head by almost immediately breaking upfield and scoring.
