Lisnagarvey and Banbridge met in the delayed Ulster Hockey Kirk Cup Final at Stormont on Saturday afternoon.

The teams are no strangers to each other and the action was fast and furious from the first whistle. Both keepers were in early action but it was from a corner that Garvey opened the scoring with No 17, Andy Edgar slotting home the only score of the first quarter.

Lisnagarvey’ s Daniel Nelson rounds the Banbridge the keeper to score.

The second quarter continued at a good pace with some great midfield tussles but mid way through the quarter, Garvey’s No 12, Daniel Nelson rounded the keeper to fire home from a narrow angle to extend their lead to 2 – 0.

Banbridge upped their efforts and it was from a corner, successfully . . .
