We caught up with Banbridge again last night as they continued their push for Top 6 Premiership competition for the remainder of the season, against an on form Ards side at Strathearn School.
Unfortunately, despite another big effort from, our new hero, Stef Ardis (left) the visitors didn’t quite get over the line against League leaders Ards and their qualification will depend on their game against Raphoe in Donegal on Saturday.
Due to getting a dodgy ankle repaired and trying to find the entrance to Strathearn, I arrived at the end of the first quarter with the game still scoreless.
Ards got their account up and running with two quick goals at the end of the second quarter.
