Clogher Valley 2nd Xv and Ballynahinch 3rd XV met in the final of the Crawford Cup at Rifle Park on Saturday afternoon.

Two well matched and experienced teams probed for openings right from the whistle. Hinch enjoyed the better of the opening exchanges but good defending by Clogher Valley held them at bay.
In fact, it was Clogher Valley who opened the scoring with a penalty by No 9, Neil Trotter, after a bit of indiscipline by Ballynahinch.
Hinch levelled up shortly after with a penalty from No 10, Mathew Norton, but Clogher Valley’s pack looked to be getting on top in the scrum . . .
