On Sunday lunchtime Belfast Harlequins faced off against City of Derry in the Women’s Junior Shield semi final at Deramore Park.
This was a full on, no prisoners taken encounter, with the prize a final to be played at Deramore Park.
Defences largely cancelled each other out, with play confined to between the ‘22’s.
City of Derry broke the deadlock on 25 minutes, when Megann Ferry broke free to dot down under the posts. Ciara Moore added the points to put City of Derry up 7-0.
