Premiership: Belfast Harlequins 35 City of Derry 5

On Saturday afternoon City of Derry travelled to Belfast to play Belfast Harlequins in an Ulster Rugby Premiership League Game at Deramore Park.

Harlequins had a blistering 1st half through tries by Kieran Tomlinson, 9 minutes, Ted Linton, 20 minutes, Jack Boal, 25 minutes and Chris Larmour, 35 minutes, all converted by Paul Kerr to go in at halftime leading 28-0.

Belfast Harlequins make a break in a decisive first half

After the break City of Derry launched attack, after attack, on the Harlequins line and were eventually rewarded with a try by Jordan Mealiff after 65 minutes.

City of Derry put pressure on the Quins defence

Harlequins had the final say with a 78th minute try by Ross Bingham, converted by Kerr, to give them a 35-5 league win, with a score line that does not fully reflect City of Derry’s efforts.
