It was a big win for Ballymena in the Ulster Rugby Premiership D2 match against Bangor on Saturday afternoon at Eaton Park.
Our photographer Cyril Boyd was there to capture the action.
It was a close first half with both teams crossing, but neither converting. Ballymena took a 10 – 5 lead into the break thanks to tries from Adam Lamont and Pierce Crowe with Mike Weir finding the line for Bangor.

The teams swapped tries at the start of the second half with Dean Millar and Sam Millar both crossing for Mena either side of a try from Bangor’s Sam Storey, converted by Gareth Millar. (That’s a lot of Millars!)

Ryan Young crossed for Bangor’s third to take the score to 20 – 17 before Ballymena cut loose with four more tries as Andrew Wilson, Curtis Henry (2) and Eoin Ritson all crossed. Crowe converted three to give Ballymena a 51 – 17 win.
