A break and pass to David Whitten opened the scoring for Instonians, after 6 minutes. Ruairi O’Farrell’s conversion put Instonians 7-0 up.
Quins countered with a try from a driving maul, after 9 minutes, before Charlie Beattie’s 21st minute penalty goal gave Quins an 8-7 lead. Chris Larmour’s 23rd minute try, followed by Beattie’s conversion put Quins 15-7 up.
