After the meteorological excesses of Friday evening, Saturday morning was sunny and warm, with a gentle breeze. Instonians 1st and 2nd XVs met for a hit out, played over 3 x 20 minute periods, at Shaw’s Bridge.
From kick off, the 1s ran the ball, creating the space for Matthew Keane to dive over beside the posts for the opening score and a 5-0 lead.
The 2s responded with a Conor Fields try, after 15 minutes, to tie the scores at 5-5. In . . .
