Our photographer Nick Murray caught up with the second half of the Forster Cup match at Upritchard Park with Bangor IIIs entertaining Ophir in the first round match.
Bangor had been prolific in the first half, with the home side leading 36 – 0 thanks to tries from Gareth Moore, Patrick Dobie (2) Jamie Mendez (2) and Ned Stewart, three of which were converted by Ross McCloskey.
The second half continued in a similar vein with Josh Nelson crossing before Moore and Stewart each completed their brace. Thomas Boyd crossed for Bangor late on with Dobie completing his hat-trick with the final score of the game.
McCloskey converted the last two score for Bangor to give a final score of Bangor 65 Ophir 7. Unfortunately we didn’t catch the Ophir scorers.
