Grosvenor visited Shaw’s Bridge to play near neighbours Grosvenor in a Kukri Rugby Championship Division One game on Saturday afternoon.
Instonians took the lead with a Matthew Keane penalty goal but Grosvenor responded with an Andrew Kelly try to lead 5-3.
Two Adam Skelton penalty goals extended the lead, to leave the half time score 11-3 in Grosvenor’s favour.
Instonians responded with a penalty goal, early in the second half, to cut Grosvenor’s lead, but tries from Matty Allen, Skelton(2) and Tim Emerson, with Skelton converting 3, sealed a comprehensive victory for Grosvenor 37-6.
