All Ireland Cup. Malone 0 UL Bohemian 48

We are currently carrying out a necessary behind-the-scenes upgrade to how images are stored and delivered on The Front Row Union Sports. With over 770,000 images on the site, we are moving our entire image library to a dedicated cloud storage service. This means images will load faster for you, regardless of where you are in the world, and the site will be more reliable overall.

As we are working on three separate versions of images during the offload process, the site cache sometimes struggles to keep up with which version to display and occasionally post grid images or complete galleries may fail to appear. This is a temporary side effect of the migration process — the image exists and is safe, it is simply in the process of being moved to its new home and identified as being there. A refresh of the page will usually bring them back, however, if it does not please contact john@thefrontrowunion.com stating clearly the post address and we will restore it as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and appreciate your patience.

We expect the bulk of the image migration to be completed by the end of June 2026, with a fully upgraded version of the site ready to launch in August 2026. Once that work is done, the site will be noticeably faster, images will load more reliably, and you will not see any further disruption of this kind. Thank you for your continued support of The Front Row Union Sports.

UL Bohemian returned to Limerick on Saturday evening with an Energia All Ireland Cup Semi Final in the bag after a comprehensive 0 – 48 win at Gibson Park against Malone.

Malone continued to add to their experience in their journey of discovery through senior rugby and they were competitive for large parts of this game. However, they struggled to cope with the power and pace of their visitors when they moved up through the gears.

A minutes silence was held before kick off

The game kicked off on Saturday evening after a minutes silence in memory of UL Bohemian’s player Sorcha Hollahan’s mum, Catherine O’Connell (Hollahan), who sadly passed away on Friday morning.

On a cold evening it was no surprise that it was, the form team of the season, UL Bohs that opened the scoring, after a few minutes, as winger , crossed out wide.

Rachel Allen crossed for a try to add to her four conversions

Tries from out half and front row/back row followed shortly after before added a power packed brace before the break, though Quin will be disappointed that her exploits in this game won’t count towards our AIL leading scorers table. 😀

Chloe Pearse continued her phenomenal try scoring season

Malone had a few chances with , and keeping the Bohs defence interested but the scoring continued in the visitors favour as Laura O’Mahoney, and all crossed in the second half.

Gemma McCambley clocked up another good showing for Malone.

Boh’s Allen added four conversion throughout the game to give a final score of Malone 0 UL Bohemian 48
