It has taken a while this season, but finally, FINALLY, I managed to make all the right picks in the last round, albeit with Sullivan making a very good effort to prove me wrong (the more astute among you will realise that I predicted that as well – bonus point?).
So, now we move into the semifinals, and with only two matches, expect a few people to get 100%. Here is how I see them shaping up:
Ballyclare HS v RBAI
It’s becoming something of a feature that if we don’t see Ballyclare at the semifinal stages of the Cup it feels like we haven’t had one at all; they have now appeared in the semifinals five out of the last six seasons and were runners-up in last year’s final. Unfortunately for them, their way to another final is blocked by a strong RBAI team.
Many would have expected Belfast Inst to beat Limavady . . .
