There’ll be tears and snotters tonight at Ravenhill as the Ulster faithful say goodbye to two of their favourite adopted sons, namely Pedrie Wannenburg and Stefan Terblanche.

While the two South Africans will still have to turn out, hopefully, for, at least, three more game for the Province before the end of the season, tonight should be their last game at Ravenhill, a venue they have both helped to turn into a fortress once again.

I was pleased to hear today that P3 has secured a contract with, one of our favourite French sides, Castres, continuing the Ulster connection with the Top 14 side which has housed Justin Fitzpatrick, Jeremy Davidson and Mark McCall in the past.

We at the FRU would like to thank the ever reliable Wannenburg for his commitment to Ulster during his stay and we wish him all the best in his future career.

I must admit I had my doubts about signing 37 year old Stefan Terblanche earlier in the season but I have absolutely no hesitation abouth withdrawing those doubts and proclaiming Terblanche as one of our best signings ever.
