Ulster in the Press.

Who's got their finger on the pulse of Ulster Rugby?

Looking at our live feeds this week  of Ulster Rugby coverage it’s easy to see that Northampton and Ulster aren’t the only teams to be going head to head this week but also our friends at The Belfast Newsletter and The Belfast Telegraph with their pre-match coverage of Ulster’s big day.

On reading the coverage you can’t help but get a feeling that the opposing camps have differing views on the likelihood of Ulsters further progression with the Tele pulling out all the big guns for what appears to be a one-off game ‘cos I just can see how they can top a line up of David Humphreys, McLaughlin, Muller, Harry Williams, Harry Williams again and Muller again!

To date the Newsletter has played the importance of the game down, looking more at the actual match rather than past glories starting off the week with a nice interview with ex-Northampton player and Ulster European Cup winner Johnny Bell and following up with a piece on possible débutante Craig Gilroy and finishing off with a piece on the old Magners v Premiership debate.
