Mini Armada Hoves into View

,

ballpark No, not the first wave of the tall ships but two youngsters all the way from 30 degree Madrid  to the green fields and grey skies of 19 degree Northern Ireland. They are here to join the Ulster Rugby Summer camps at Jordanstown and Carrickfergus RFC, in a venture facilitated, at this end, by Malone RFC and in Madrid by a AIL player from Limerick direction (Bohemians I think his club is).

The two lads are staying in the BP household and are still getting over the jet lag and car lag brought on by a past midnight journey up from Dublin Airport, arriving in Belfast circa 1.30am.

Yesterday was spent recovering from the ordeal of the delayed flights etc.

It is hoped to show them ‘sunny’ Belfast this morning before some social this afternoon and the Summer Camps tomorrow.  So if your down Carrick RFC way this week give Martin all the way from Madrid a warm welcome.  Whilst those of you who are serious athletes and are in Jordanstown say hello to Guillermo.
