International Rugby Under 20

Ireland U20’s secured their second win of the 2016 World Rugby U20 Championship with a dramatic 33 – 20 win against, current World Champions, New Zealand.

U20 rugby largely replaced U19 and U21 rugby as the main international competitive age grade in 2008 with both the Six Nations and the, then, International Rugby Board Junior World Championship both adopting this age limit. The IRB Junior World Championship rebranded as the World Rugby Under 20 Championship in 2014.
