Ireland U20: And still there is one!

The Ireland U20 side has been named for their 7th place play of match against New Zealand at Rosario, Argentina. Kick off 17:00 UK/IRE (Live on World Rugby web media.) NOTE CHANGE OF KICK OFF TIME.

Once again the starting XV features only one Ulster player, Angus Kernohan (QUB) our sole representative this time round. It’s bad luck for Azur Allison (Ballymena) who is consigned to the bench to make way for new arrival Brian Deeny (Clontarf) who had a crowd pleasing cameo when he came on against England last time out.

Deeny is joined in the starting line up by fellow bolter Max O’Reilly (Dublin University) who starts at full back despite only playing 4 minutes of the tournament so far.

The rest of the team is pretty much as expected though there may be a few spats in Limerick with Garryowen’s Ben Healy having to make way for Shannon’s Jake Flannery . . .
