Late Saturday afternoon in a cold wind, with driving rain, Cooke faced Galwegians in an All Ireland League fixture at Shawsbridge.

Playing with the rain and wind Galwegians dominated the first half forcing Cooke to defend and live off scraps.

Jemma Lees opened the scoring after 8 minutes for 5-0 to Galwegians.

Síofra Hession added a brace of tries and 4 conversions for Galwegians

Thereafter tries from, Síofra Hession 2, Dolores Hughes, Mollie Starr, Gemma Faulkner, together with 4 Siofra Hession conversions gave Galwegians a commanding 38-0 halftime lead.
