We caught up with the Championship 1 match between Cooke and Ballymoney on a blustery Saturday afternoon at Shaw’s Bridge.
After a minute’s silence the game got under way with a very lively home side breaking the deadlock with an early try by scrum half, Ryan Flavell for a 5 – 0 lead.
Cooke’s lead was extended mid way through the half when No 13, Kyle Mitchell burst through beside the posts giving No 15, Andy McMurray a simple kick for the extra points to take the score to 12 – 0.
