Pegasus welcomed Coleraine to Newforge on Sunday afternoon for a Girls U15 Performance League hockey match.
It was a lively game from start to finish with both sides deciding that attack was the best form of defence.
Coleraine had the better of the early exchanges but Pegasus began to work their way into the game with Alana Thornton letting lose with a few “sighters” from the edge of the D. However it was Coleraine that opened the scoring nine minutes in with Amy Martin getting the final touch at the far post after a goal mouth scramble.
Pegasus hit back within a minute as Thornton got one on target to tie the game 1 – 1 at the end of a busy first quarter.
