An entertaining match saw Sligo emerge victorious after a close battle with Harlequins in this AIL 2B match at Deramore Park on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams started strong, with early indiscipline costing the visitors a yellow card. Harlequins’ Johnny McCracken capitalized on this by scoring the first try in the corner for a 5 – 0 lead.
Sligo responded with pressure of their own, leading to tries by Hubert Gilvarry and Philip Carter, one converted by Julian Leszczy?skito take the score to 5 – 12.
