Queen’s University welcomed, AIL 1B league leaders, St Mary’s College to Belfast on Saturday afternoon.
With Queens sitting at the wrong end of the table so it was going to be a tough match. But right from the start, the home team took the game to the visitors and aggressive rucking saw an early score for Queens, as the pack drove over for No 6, Harry Long to score an unconverted try for a 5 – 0 lead.

St Marys pressed hard to open their account but great defence kept them at bay and the swirling wind played havoc with the penalties they earned.
