On Saturday lunchtime Queen’s University II entertained Banbridge II in the 2nd XV League, as the 1st part of a double header at The Dub, Upper Malone.
Queens took an early 4th minute lead, through a Harry McKibben try, in the left corner for a 5-0 lead. In the 15th minute they doubled their lead when Matthew Curry cantered in from deep to dot down on the left. Queens continued to dominate, and it was no surprise when Curry added his 2nd try after 31 minutes. Alex McBurney’s conversion made it 17-0 to Queens.
Queens seemed to relax coming up to the break. Sam Patteron found a gap, in the Queens defence to run in from 30 metres. Denis . . .
