We caught up again with the combined U18 girls side from City of Armagh, Banbridge and Newry as they hosted their counterparts from Carrickfergus, Larne, Malone and Ophir in the semi final of the Club U18 Girls Cup on Sunday afternoon at City of Armagh Rugby Club.
The teams had met a few weeks ago in the round robin section of the cup competition with the Armagh based outfit running out comfortable winners but they had to work a bit harder in this match.
The home side got of to the best of starts with a try after 4 minutes from Kate Berry close to the posts. Emily Dickson added the conversion to give Armagh a 7 – 0 lead.
