Men’s Premier: NI Civil Service 1 South Antrim 3

On a cool Tuesday evening South Antrim were the visitors to Stormont to face NI Civil Service in a Men’s Premier League fixture.

Max Taylor’s penalty stroke opened South Antrims’ account

South Antrim attacked from push back and were awarded a penalty corner. A goalmouth offence resulted in a penalty stroke, which was tucked away by Max Taylor to put South Antrim up 0 – 1 after 2 minutes.

I’m not certain if there is history between the clubs or players but there was a niggle in the game from early on, which led to some feisty encounters.

South Antrim led 0 – 1 at the end of the 1st quarter.
