By the time I caught up with the Town’s Cup game at Ballymacarn Park, Ballynahinch II’s had built up a 26 – 11 half time lead.
By all accounts Limavady had put up a good first half but with only 15 players available the conditions and a few knocks was starting to take it’s toll on the visiting side.
Hinch closed the game out fairly quickly with James Martin going under the posts for Cameron Patterson to convert to push the score along to 33 -11 and Harry McCormick scored an unconverted try, despite a good effort from Patterson out wide, to take it to 38 – 11.
