It’s not often Ulster Women put 40 plus points past anyone but they did, and in some style too, against Connacht in this pre season friendly which was the final match at Ballina RFC on Sunday afternoon.
It was nip and tuck in the first quarter in this match with neither side getting on top, though Ulster looked to be going through the gears a touch more smoothly than Connacht.
Ulster’s Kelly McCormill impressed in the early exchanges, and indeed throughout the match, with her hard running up the centre keeping the Connacht defence busy.
