We caught up with the, touring USA side, Eagle Impact Rugby Academy in their game against Ulster U18 girls at Portadown College on Saturday afternoon.
This was a hard fought game between two evenly matched sides. Both teams created early chances but the defences held firm until the 20 minute when EIRA’s Brin Bayer went over for the opening score close to the posts. London Key added the conversion to give EIRA a 0 – 7 lead.
Ulster pushed hard for a response but they were unable to break down the American’s defence and the first half ended with out further score.
