Malone and Belfast Harlequins Women finished off the Festival of Rugby at Gibson Park with an entertaining game with Malone taking the spoils 24 – 0.
Belfast Harlequins enjoyed the lions share of possession throughout the first half but they were unable to find the composure to finish off a few chances.
The home team seemed content to soak up the pressure and attack on the break and such was the case when winger Anna Stanfield broke clear for the opening score. Sophie Armstrong broke from deep to cross five minute later and with Alexa Grudgings adding the extras Malone took a 12 – 0 lead into the break.
