Ballymena proved all the pundits wrong with a battling win over Ballynahinch in the semi final of the Senior Cup on Saturday afternoon. Ballymena now face City of Armagh in the Senior Cup final on Tuesday 19th December at Ravenhill.
The match was a tense affair throughout with the score tied at 6 all as the game went into its final minutes.
A late score by Callum Patterson secured the win for Ballymena who were delighted to overturn a 0 – 27 defeat by Hinch at Eaton Park in the AIL last weekend.
