In the women’s tournament, Ards stole the show with 2 comfortable wins and an impressive 15 goals from 6 different goal scorers despite being without Irish Indoor International Amy Benson. Queen’s returned from their early defeat against Ards to scrape a narrow 6 – 4 win over newbies Coleraine at the end of the day.

On Saturday Harlequins travelled the short distance to The Dub Playing Fields to play Queen’s in the Men’s Premier League. I arrived at The Dub, a few minutes before the end of the 1st quarter.
