On Saturday afternoon, Queen’s University 2XV were the visitors to a wet and cold Roughfort to face Academy in a Towns Cup tie.

The Towns Cup match took place in typical Roughfort weather, but both teams produced fast flowing rugby that kept the spectators warm. The home side were first on the scoreboard with, Daniel Logan crossing over near the posts for Michael Wilson to add the extra two points to put Academy 7-0 up.

It took until midway through the half for Academy to increase their lead with Harry Warke, diving over, Michael Wilson again adding the conversion for . . .
