AIL1B: Instonians 29 City of Armagh 14

On a cold, raw Saturday Instonians faced City of Armagh in an AIL1B fixture at Shawsbridge. Imnstonians were hoping to avenge their defeat to Armagh in the reverse postponed fixture the week before.

The game was in doubt until 30 minutes before kick-off, as the referee was concerned about the condition of the pitch in the shadow of the clubhouse.

Cameron Cummings added a brace of tries for Armagh

Armagh took an early lead with Cameron Cummings racing through the middle to score. Owen O’Kane converted for Armagh to lead 7-0 after 5 minutes.

David Whitten scored under the posts for Instonians

The game was evenly balanced . . .
