Queens University met Co Cavan in the Deloitte Ulster Women’s Junior Cup Final on Easter Monday at Ravenhill.
The Front Row Union sent our two latest recruits Ruby Starrett and Cara McLean along to Ravenhill to photograph and report on the final.
Queens enjoyed the better of the first quarter in terms of territory and possession but were unable to break down the strong Cavan defence.
Having soaked up the Queens pressure for the best part of half an hour, Cavan started to make some strong breaks through the center and they proved to be more clinical with their possession with center Lauren O’Riordan busting through the Queens defence to score under the posts.
