Late Saturday afternoon, Comber Road, Royal Hillsborough was the venue for the Women’s All Ireland Hockey League 2 fixture between Lisnagarvey and Belfast Harlequins.
In an evenly contested match, there was no scoring in the first two quarters but plenty of action!
It took until the third quarter for the breakthrough to come. Claire Whiteside put the visitors ahead cutting in from the wing to beat the keeper between her pads to put Quins up 1-0.
