We caught up with the Saturday lunchtime Junior 4 fixture between Banbridge Ladies 3XI and Priorians 2XI at Havelock Park.
Banbridge enjoyed the early pressure in this one but they were unable to find the right touch inside the circle and it was Priorians that opened the scoring at the end of tea first quarter as Alice O’Neill’s lob wrongfooted the Banbridge defence.
It was a similar pattern in the second quarter with Banbridge continuing to enjoy the lion’s share of possession. Prior again looked to have sneaked a second goal from a penalty corner only for it to be ruled out which left the score at 0 – 1 as the teams went changed ends.
Once again the bulk of play was in the Priorians half but the visitors continued to make the most of their chances and a break out by Milly Spence saw . . .
