On Sunday afternoon Queens faced Dublin side, Old Alexandra, in an All Ireland League fixture at Queens Playing Fields.

Queens took control immediately and took a 2-0- lead in the first quarter with a brace of Jenna McCarlie goals on 4 and 9 minutes.

Despite domination and creating chances, Queens couldn’t add to their lead and halftime was reached with Queens leading 2-0.

Queens increased their lead on 50 minutes, with an Eva Gaston strike for 3-0 in the 3rd quarter.

Old Alex pegged one back in the 57th minute, through a Leah Clery strike following a penalty corner.
