Early Sunday afternoon Pegasus entertained Catholic Institute in an All Ireland Hockey League fixture at Queens Playing Fields.
Despite most of the possession and territory Pegasus couldn’t break down a very stubborn Institute defence and the first quarter remained scoreless.
The second quarter was much the same fare with Pegasus creating chances but not able to put any away.

Eventually on 29 minutes Alexandra Hedley found space in the semi circle and slotted the ball under the advancing keeper. Despite further chances the score remained 1-0 to Pegasus at half time.
Pegasus again dominated in a scoreless third quarter, though Institute were dangerous on the break.
