On Saturday afternoon Pegasus entertained Pembroke Wanderers in the opening match of the All Ireland League season, at Queens University Playing Fields.

Katie McKee proved a real handful for the Pembroke defence

The game ended in a scoreless draw. Pembroke had the best of the 1st quarter, Pegasus the best of the other 3. Though chances were created neither team could break the deadlock.

Ruth McCandless. scored the decisive run in for Pegasus

Pegasus won the bonus point run ins 2-1. Katie McKee and Ruth McCandless were successful for Pegasus, Katherine Egan for Pembroke. Pegasus secured 2 points in the first game of the season.
