On Wednesday afternoon The Royal School Armagh 3XI were the visitors to a sunny, warm Pirrie Park to face Methodist College 3XI in a Gibson Cup Quarter Final Tie.
Both sides were dangerous on the break in the 1st quarter but neither side could make an early breakthrough. Armagh shaded territory and possession, as the quarter ended 0-0.
Armagh took control in the 2nd quarter with their midfield stifling out Methody breaks but was still a 0-0 stalemate at halftime.
The 3rd quarter was the same fare with Armagh having the lion’s share of the game.
