On Tuesday afternoon Victoria College 2XI travelled to Lisburn to play Friends School 2XI in a McDowell Cup Quarter Final Tie.
Both sides created chances in the first quarter but neither side was able to put away any as the quarter ended 0-0.

The second quarter was barely a minute old, when Erin McCourt found space in the circle to open the scoring for Friends. Victoria tried to respond but a well marshalled Friends defence denied them opportunities. Halftime was reached with Friends leading 1-0.
An industrious Friends midfield began to dominate in the third quarter, cutting off ball to the Victoria forwards, starving them of possession.
