The last game at Meadowbank on Saturday was the U14 Regional Plate final between Co Cavan and Donegal Town. Unfortunately, after four and a half hours without a break at these matches I had to quicky depart for a toilet break at the end of this one so I didn’t get the scorer names or presentation photos.

Donegal played the game with their shirts inside out to avoid a colour clash so no Donegal scorer numbers were available.

The Donegal side started strongly, returning the kick off for a try on the right after a quick penalty tap.

Cavan struggled to get into the game and Donegal went over for their second, this one converted to take the score to 0 – 12 six minutes later.
