We started out coverage of the Ulster Hockey Schools Finals at Stormont Pavilion with the Senior Shield Final between Belfast Royal Academy and Royal School Dungannon.
This was a pacy, competitive game with not much between the teams. BRA started strongly in the first quarter and edged territory and possession but defences were on top and Q1 ended without score.
Dungannon turned the tables, in terms of territory and possession, in the second quarter as they built their way into the game but neither team was able to make the breakthrough and we went into the second half with the game still scoreless.
