Senior 2: Owls 1 Limavady 1

I caught up with the Senior 2 league match between Owls and Limavady on a misty Friday evening at Roughfort.

The game quickly set into the pattern of Owls enjoying the bulk of territory and possession with Limavady looking for quick counter attacks.

Despite Owls having the vast share of possession in the opening exchanges it was Limavady who were first on the scoresheet with a break down the right leading to a precise pass to Limavady captain Shauneen Mullan who slotted the ball into the back of the net with some aplomb to give the visitors a 0 – 1 lead after 5 minutes.
