Instonians 2nd XV and Lurgan met in a Junior Shield Quarter Final match at Shaws Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Lurgan applied the early pressure and took a 0 – 3 lead after a successful penalty from full back Martin Connolly on the 2nd minute.
It took Instonians a while to get going, against Lurgan’s enthusiastic defence, but they eventually strung enough phases together to send out half Josh Eagleson over in the corner to take the score to 5 – 3 after 11 minutes.
